
Webinar A 4-day workweek in a nursery? The case of Caminhos de Infância nursery in Portugal
The European Work-Time Network is hosting its first webinar of 2025,with researchers and practitioners to discuss the case of a 4-day week in a Portuguese nursery.
Our speakers will deliver a short presentation on the subject, followed by an audience Q&A.
Speakers:
Inês Poeiras is the Executive Director at Caminhos da Infância.
Francisca Carneiro is the President and Pedagogical Director at Caminhos da Infância (Childhood’s Paths), a non-profit association working to raise awareness among all stakeholders in our society to prevent child abuse and parenting negligence while promoting a positive parenting approach.
Sofia Alexandra Cruz is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto, and a Researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto, coordinating a research project on the 4-day workweek funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.
Ana Isabel Couto is invited Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Porto, and Researcher at the Institute of Sociology of the University of Porto, co-coordinating a research project on the 4-day workweek funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology.
